چکیده
Little is explored regarding the modality-specific differences in recall abilities of preschool children. Understanding at an early age might give insight into age-linked trends, which can lay a foundation for later development. The current study used cross-sectional design to investigate children using story and stimulus. A total 20 typically developing between ages 3.6 5.5 years were presented with followed by task across auditory, visual, auditory-visual modalities determine abilities. results analyzed mixed ANOVA, revealed higher ability modality than other modalities. findings are explained based on Dual coding theory, Multimedia effect, Mental imagery skills, Visual superiority Attentional behavior, Comprehension skill. implies importance Auditory-Visual facilitating better story-based tasks among
